The RUNNER LINK is a network alarm communicator that
transmits alarm data via the TCP/IP network to the central
monitoring station and incorporates the following features
Connection to existing IP networks for a fully polled, secure
communication path to the central monitoring station.
Real time remote access to the system for system diagnostics or system
programming
Event log on demand
Continuous phone line supervision with backup provided by PSTN
or GPRS (optional)
Distribution of alarm information by SMS or Email
Integrated specifically to the RUNNER BLUE series of control
panels the GPRS back up system utilises the Permaconn
network. In the event of a phone line failure the RUNNER
GPRS switches on and transmits the alarm data to the central
monitoring station that is fitted with the Permaconn GPRS
receiver.
GPRS unit carries Dual SIM cards allowing for transmission of data via
a secondary GSM network should the first fail (only available on hourly
or 90 second polling plans)
Utilises the fully polled, secure Permaconn GPRS network
Provides exceptional full redundancy in the event of a PSTN (phone)
line failure or TCP/IP failure.
When the RUNNER access control options are fitted to the RUNNER BLUE
alarm control system the following features are available:
Comfortably up to 7 access controlled doors (8 doors if the system is
access control only and the alarm functionality is not used.)
Up to 100 users can be assigned an access control proximity TAG
or CARD
Proximity users can each be assigned to one of eight programmable
weekly time schedules incorporating up to 8 holidays. This allows fo
the user to be assigned the days of the week and the time of the day
that they have access to a particular door.
